- This morning i sifted through old archives which contained a bunch
- of newsposts from this group, about two or three months old. And,
- fellow Amiga users, I am proud to see that this group has changed.
-
- A couple of weeks ago, there were dozens of posts every day, "Amiga
- is not up to date", "it won't survive, sorry" and "they don't do
- things right". When I look at this group today, I see questions
- concerning hardware in-use and more or less competent answers. Dis-
- cussions about what gfx card is best, how to upgrade to the newest
- expansions and so on.
-
- It gives me confidence. Confidence in the company Amiga Technologies,
- confidence in the hard- and software producers and confidence in the
- legendary die-hard user society of the Amiga.
-
- I am convinced now that I made the right decission in sticking to the
- Amiga instead of jumping on the MS train to nowhere.
-
- Congratulations to you all. You stopped bickering and whining and
- started to do what kept the Amiga alive. Believing in the best system
- money can buy.
